We are thrilled to announce a free, in person event on Friday 11th October, as part of the TUTF and SFI ADVANCE-CRT funded Aclú project, which is investigating how digital technologies can play a role in promoting physical activity and healthy eating patterns among populations clinically diagnosed with mental health difficulties. This project is a collaborative effort involving staff from the Department of Sport, Leisure & Childhood Studies, UNESCO Chair in Inclusive PE Sport Recreation and Fitness, Nimbus Research Centre and the Department of Applied Social Studies.
Our guest speaker will be Dr Tetyana Rocks, an expert in Nutritional Psychiatry, and the current Food and Mood Academy Lead at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.
The event is scheduled for Friday, October 11th, from 10am to 12pm in the Melbourn Seminar Room at MTU Cork. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and gain insights from Tetyana’s extensive work that enables implementation of the latest research in Nutritional Psychiatry into transdiagnostic clinical practice.
We look forward to seeing you there but please RSVP using this link, as spaces are limited.
